Tom Ware lives in Colorado and has been sculpting and drawing for over 25 years.  He received his education in art at the Kansas City Art Institute and University of Missouri.  He is a member of the North American Sculpture Society and is a three-time award winner in the North American Sculpture Exhibition at The Foothills Art Center. A life-long fascination with the human form and spirit led to Ware’s commitment to sculpture as his preferred medium.  His artistic aim has been to present an introspective look at people as subjects – “trying to let some of the inner light shine through”’ and I’ve also become quite interested in Rodin’s progressive motion theories so I have tried to introduce some of that in recent work.”His work is in numerous private collections, as well as in galleries and is represented in Santa Fe by Shidoni Gallery.
