Benbow Bullock
Benbow's large, colorful metal pieces reflect his affinity for the simple elegance of hard edge geometric constructivism, his preferred form of sculpture.
After learning gas welding at the University of California’s San Francisco extension with Mel Henderson, and MIG welding at the San Francisco Art Institute with Jim Anderson, he began working in a variety of metal media, such as steel, silicon bronze, aluminum and stainless steel. He quickly developed his unique style, incorporating influences from his travels to architectural, archaeological and historic sites worldwide.
